I was extremely shy as a child. Even as a teenager I had a fear to be out in front of others. My earliest dreams were to be a movie star. But God had a different plan. In a church choir from age 3 through 13, music was the language that spoke to my heart. Journaling was my earliest writing. After 7 years in counseling from childhood trauma, I used a spiral notebook to write the truths I learned in psychotherapy and discovered they were in God's word, hence, my book: "I Can Grow Up".
I memorized the hymns in the hymnbook and my sister and I would harmonize. Then my Heavenly Father began putting original songs and poems in my heart and mind. Writing and singing those songs brought my greatest joy! After sporadically writing my true life story for 26 years, I published with Selah Press Publishing and it became available on Amazon in April 2022.
